Quick Answer
The Silverback TAC-41L Sport is the lightest and most compact TAC-41 in the Silverback lineup. Two springs in the box, true TDC hop-up, 330mm barrel, fiberglass reinforced polymer construction. One of the most requested restocks we carry — and once you hold it, you understand why.
What's In The Box
Open the box and you're greeted with high quality foam packaging that keeps everything secure in transit, and an instruction manual. Read the manual. The TAC-41L is an incredible platform but it has quirks that will catch you off guard if you skip the manual.
Everything is precisely fitted in the foam:
- Instruction manual
- Two free patches — Silverback brand patch and TAC-41 exclusive patch
- Stock clamp with included tools — Allen keys and screws, everything needed for assembly
- 48 round magazine — pre-installed in the receiver
- Two springs — 90 Newton pre-installed, 120 Newton included
Two springs in the box is significant. The 90N is installed and ready to shoot. The 120N gives you a free upgrade depending on your field's Joule limits — no extra purchase needed.

The Magazine System
The TAC-41L has a 48 round magazine and a 20 BB internal channel in the receiver. Here's how to use it:
- Load 48 BBs into the magazine
- Insert the magazine — listen for the BBs to feed into the internal channel
- Remove the magazine
- Top it off with 20 more BBs
- Reinsert — you now have 68 BBs ready to fire
Important: when you're done for the day always clear the internal chamber before storing the gun. BBs left in the channel can cause feeding issues over time.
Extended 110 round magazines are also available — shop TAC-41 magazines here.

Build Quality
The TAC-41L Sport is built from fiberglass reinforced polymer — not the cheap ABS plastic you find on most entry-level bolt action sniper rifles. It's solid, there's almost no rattle, and it feels exactly like what you paid for.
Weight comes in just under 4 pounds without a scope — the lightest TAC-41 in the lineup. You can run this all day without fatigue. That's one of the biggest advantages of the L configuration over the P.

The Barrel
330mm tapered aluminum outer barrel with a 6.05mm brass AEG-type inner barrel. M24x1 threaded — compatible with any M24x1 muzzle device including suppressors.
The quick change barrel system uses a bayonet lock and clamp into the receiver — swapping barrels takes seconds with no tools required.
The Chassis
The lite chassis has a Picatinny stock attachment point — meaning you can swap to any compatible stock without modifying the gun. M-LOK slots on the sides and bottom give you real estate for bipods, lights, tripods, or anything else you want to run.

The Hop-Up
True TDC — Top Down Control. 50 indexed positions with 15 micron increments. AEG hop-up rubber compatible with a 60 degree rubber included in the box. Anti double-feed system built in.
The TDC system means you can adjust hop-up regardless of what scope you're running — no need to remove the optic to access the adjustment point.

FPS Test — Stock 90 Newton Spring
Tested on 0.32g BBs with the stock 90 Newton spring:
- 360 FPS
- 1.94 Joules
Most US outdoor airsoft fields cap snipers at 2 to 2.5 Joules — you're right in the window stock. The 120 Newton spring in the box will push you to approximately 410-420 FPS and closer to 2.5-2.65 Joules. Check your field limits before swapping springs.
Upgrade Path
The TAC-41L has one of the strongest upgrade paths of any airsoft sniper rifle at this price point. Springs, cylinders, pistons, hop-up rubbers, bolt knobs, suppressors — all available.
