Quick Answer
The Silverback TAC-41P Sport is a full size bolt action airsoft sniper rifle on the proven TAC-41 platform. Classic polymer stock, 510mm barrel, fully ambidextrous controls, two springs in the box. This is what a sniper rifle is supposed to feel like — and the price point makes that statement hit harder.
What's In The Box
Open the box and you're greeted with high quality foam packaging and an instruction manual. Read the manual before you shoot.
⚠️ Critical first step: The cylinder and bolt knob come pre-assembled together but NOT installed in the gun. You need to install them yourself before shooting. The steps are in the manual.
Everything in the box:
- Instruction manual
- Two free patches — Silverback brand patch and TAC-41 exclusive patch
- Three butt plate spacers — adjust length of pull out of the box
- 48 round magazine — pre-installed in the receiver
- Two springs — 90 Newton pre-installed, 120 Newton included
- Tools stored inside the stock under a rubber pad — everything needed for maintenance is already in the gun
Two springs in the box is significant. The 90N is installed and ready. The 120N gives you a free upgrade depending on your field's Joule limits — no extra purchase needed.

The Magazine System
The TAC-41P has a 48 round magazine and a 20 BB internal channel in the receiver. Here's how to use it:
- Load 48 BBs into the magazine
- Insert the magazine — BBs feed into the internal channel
- Remove the magazine
- Top it off with 20 more BBs
- Reinsert — 68 BBs ready to fire
Important: always clear the internal chamber before storing the gun. BBs left in the channel can cause feeding issues over time.
Extended 110 round magazines are also available — shop TAC-41 magazines here.

Build Quality
The TAC-41P Sport is built from fiberglass reinforced polymer — not the cheap ABS plastic you find on most entry-level bolt action sniper rifles. It's solid, no rattle, and it feels exactly like what you paid for.
Weight comes in just under 5.3 pounds with magazine. The full size 110cm profile feels like a real bolt action. For players coming from real steel bolt guns or hunters familiar with traditional rifle stocks, the TAC-41P's ergonomics will feel immediately natural.

The Barrel
510mm tapered aluminum outer barrel with a 6.05mm brass AEG-type inner barrel — 180mm longer than the TAC-41L. More barrel length means more BB stabilization over the full travel distance before leaving the muzzle. At long range this translates to more consistent groupings once the gun is broken in and the hop-up is dialed.
M24x1 threaded — compatible with any M24x1 muzzle device including suppressors. Three barrel spacers included. Quick change barrel — bayonet lock and clamp, no tools required.

The Stock
The classic polymer stock on the TAC-41P does more than most people realize. Cheek pad adjusts up and down without tools — unique to the P, not on the L. Stock length adjustable 0 to +3cm out of the box, up to +6cm with optional parts, using the three included butt plate spacers.
Stainless steel tripod attachment is built directly into the stock. M-LOK slots on both sides and underneath give you full accessory real estate — bipod, scope cam, rails, lights. Four QD sling points front and back on each side. Tools are stored inside the stock under a rubber pad.
The Hop-Up
True TDC — Top Down Control. 50 indexed positions at 15 micron increments. AEG hop-up rubber compatible with a 60 degree rubber included. Anti double-feed system built in.
The TDC design means you can adjust hop-up regardless of what scope you're running — no need to remove the optic to access the adjustment point. Field adjustment is thumb-operated with no tools needed.

FPS Test — Stock 90 Newton Spring
Tested on 0.32g BBs with the stock 90 Newton spring:
- ~300 FPS
- ~1.35 Joules
- Incredibly consistent results across every shot
The 510mm barrel creates more friction on a fresh gun compared to the shorter L barrel — expect FPS to climb after 50-100 shots as the gun breaks in. Re-chrono after break-in before drawing final conclusions.
The 120 Newton spring in the box will push this significantly higher once broken in. Check your field limits before swapping springs.

Upgrade Path
The TAC-41P shares the same upgrade ecosystem as every other TAC-41 — springs, cylinders, pistons, hop-up rubbers, bolt knobs, suppressors — all available.
