The shoes and boots are the lowest point of the build and the closest thing to the ground. They're a hard surface with no natural breakup, and they read as boots instantly at distance. In the Ghillie vs Drone series boots were flagged as a giveaway. In Field Test 1 the uncrafted gaiters confirmed it on camera.

The gaiters cover the boots. But an uncrafted gaiter is still a flat brown surface. This video fixes that.

The Brown Oak Gaiters have a warm earth tone base — built to match the brown floor environment of dead leaves, pine needles, and dry earth. At ground level, the surroundings also include a significant amount of green low plants, shrubs, and grass growing up from the floor.

The Le Covert Halo Screen Laser Cut Kit TROPIC adds consistent lush green modules that match that low vegetation layer. The Brown Oak base handles the earth tones — TROPIC handles the green vegetation on top.

Using the standard four-shade kit would introduce too much variety at ground level. TROPIC's consistent single tone keeps the coverage unified and clean.

How The Brown Oak Gaiters Are Built For Crafting

Like all Stalker concealment products, the Brown Oak Gaiters come with the same fine crafting mesh and crafting loops found throughout the lineup. Attaching Le Covert modules is exactly the same process as the suit, pants, and balaclava — thread through the holes, create the leaf shape, secure with a crafting loop, snip the zip tie tail flush.

Step By Step — How The Gaiters Were Crafted

Take out the TROPIC modules The Halo Screen Laser Cut Kit TROPIC comes pre-cut. Pull out the modules and get set up to work on both gaiters at once.

Cover all four sides Front, back, and both sides of each gaiter. The gaiters are visible from every angle when someone is moving or stationary in the field — coverage needs to be consistent all the way around, not just on the front-facing surface.

Thread, loop, snip Thread each module through the mesh holes to create the leaf-shaped profile, secure to a crafting loop, snip the tail flush. Same technique as every other piece in the build. Clean and consistent across the full surface.

40 minutes, 25% of one kit The gaiters are a relatively small surface area compared to the suit or pants. 40 minutes of work used approximately 25% of one TROPIC Laser Cut Kit — leaving the remaining 75% available for the balaclava and any additional coverage needed elsewhere.

What The Field Test Showed

Field Test 1 — uncrafted gaiters, visible on camera. Field Test 2 — TROPIC modules on all sides, significantly harder to spot.

The gaiters were one of the two things that went into Field Test 1 uncrafted. After crafting them with the TROPIC kit the improvement in Field Test 2 was immediate — nothing at ground level was giving away position the way the bare brown gaiters were before.
