Quick Answer

Le Covert Sartorialist makes four modular ghillie crafting kits — all designed to layer on top of your existing gear using zip ties. If you only buy one, start with the Direct Deployment Kit — it's the most complete single purchase in the lineup and comes with both positive and negative space materials. If you want the most creative control, go with the Halo Screen Starter Kit. If you want results with less work, grab the Halo Screen Laser Cut Kit. And if you just need to cover your rifle or helmet, the Oak Master 3D Garlands are what you want.

What Is Le Covert Sartorialist?

Le Covert Sartorialist is a Polish concealment brand built around a concept most ghillie manufacturers completely ignore: negative space.

Most ghillie materials — leaves, jute, raffia — add things that stick out. That's positive space. But the gaps and shadows between those materials — the empty areas your eye naturally tries to fill in — that's negative space, and that's what gets people spotted at distance even when their suit looks great up close.

Standard ghillie mesh reflects light in a way natural vegetation doesn't. Le Covert's proprietary HaloScreen material was engineered specifically to fix that.

The creator retired in 2025. Everything in this lineup is the original system — not a knockoff.

Nothing requires modifications to your existing gear. Every Le Covert kit attaches with the included zip ties.

The 4 Le Covert Sartorialist Kits Explained

Halo Screen Starter Kit

→ Shop Halo Screen Starter Kit (Standard) → Shop Halo Screen Starter Kit (TROPIC)

The Starter Kit gives you four large raw panels of HaloScreen mesh in four color signatures, plus 600 zip ties. The panels come uncut — you shape and cut them yourself into whatever sizes and configurations work for your build.

This is the most hands-on option in the lineup. You get the most fabric per dollar, and you have complete creative control over how the material is applied. The tradeoff is time — this isn't a take-it-out-of-the-box-and-play kit. You're sitting down and cutting shapes before you ever attach anything.

Available in two colorways:

  • Standard — four shades of green, works across most temperate woodland environments
  • TROPIC — four sheets of tropic green, built for lush tropical and summer vegetation

Best for: Players who want maximum creative control and don't mind putting in the crafting work.

Halo Screen Laser Cut Kit

→ Shop Halo Screen Laser Cut Kit (Standard) → Shop Halo Screen Laser Cut Kit (TROPIC)

Same HaloScreen material as the Starter Kit — different format. The Laser Cut Kit comes with 180 pre-cut modules already shaped at the factory, plus zip ties and a user manual.

Le Covert did the cutting for you. The shapes are precision-designed for optimal concealment — you're not guessing how big each piece should be. Open the box, zip-tie, done. It costs more than the Starter Kit, but the time saved on crafting makes it worth it for most players.

Available in the same two colorways: Standard and TROPIC.

Best for: Players who want the HaloScreen result without the hours of cutting and shaping.

Direct Deployment Kit

→ Shop DDK Woodland → Shop DDK Brown → Shop DDK Green

The Direct Deployment Kit is the only product in the lineup that gives you both types of material in one box — HaloScreen for negative space and MacroNet 3D modules for positive space. Everything comes pre-cut and ready to attach.

The three colorways are the main decision point:

  • Woodland — green and brown mixed, covers most US woodland environments year-round
  • Green — pure green dominant, best for lush summer fields and tropical environments
  • Brown — warm earth tones, best for dry terrain, open fields, and late fall/winter

Pick based on where you play most. If you're unsure, Woodland is the safest starting point.

Best for: Anyone starting from scratch who wants one kit that handles both positive and negative space. The strongest single-purchase option in the lineup.

Oak Master 3D Garlands

→ Shop Oak Master 3D Garlands

The Oak Master Garlands are built from NanoScreen — a different material from HaloScreen, designed specifically for positive space. These are pre-shaped leaf garlands, about 74cm long each, in two shapes (Regular and Wide) and two color signatures (Faded Beech and Cold Coyote). You get 30 garlands total with 300 zip ties included.

Where the Halo Screen kits focus on filling in gaps and shadows, the garlands focus on adding natural-looking vegetation volume. They're the most natural-looking product in the lineup and the easiest to apply — wrap, zip-tie, done.

These are built for rifles, helmets, backpacks, and any other gear that needs vegetation added to it. Your weapon is often what gets you spotted when everything else is dialed in — a rifle-shaped object sticking out of a bush still reads as a rifle.

Best for: Players who already have a solid base layer and just need to cover their rifle, helmet, or other gear.

How to Choose the Right Kit

Starting from scratch, want one kit that does everything? → Direct Deployment Kit — pick your colorway based on terrain.

Want the most fabric and full creative control? → Halo Screen Starter Kit.

Want HaloScreen but don't want to spend hours cutting? → Halo Screen Laser Cut Kit. The upcharge is worth it.

Already have a suit and just need rifle or helmet coverage? → Oak Master 3D Garlands.

These kits are designed to layer with each other — you're not choosing between them permanently. Most serious builds combine two or more.

FAQ

Do I need to modify my ghillie suit to use these kits? No. Everything attaches with the included zip ties — no glue, no sewing, no permanent modifications.

Can I mix colorways between kits? Yes. The field demo in the video uses a mixed Stalker colorway build (Alder top, Brown Oak pants) with Le Covert layered on top. The Le Covert material unifies the look.

What's the difference between HaloScreen and MacroNet? HaloScreen is a mesh material designed to manage negative space — the gaps and shadows in your suit that reflect light wrong. MacroNet is a 3D material designed for positive space — the stuff that sticks out and looks like vegetation. The Direct Deployment Kit includes both.

Which colorway should I pick for the DDK? Woodland works in most US environments year-round. Green is best for lush summer or tropical fields. Brown is best for dry or open terrain in fall and winter.

Are these kits compatible with Stalker Airsoft suits? Yes. All Le Covert kits are designed to attach to any base layer including Stalker leaf suits, combat capes, and viper hoods.

Do kits come with zip ties? Yes — all kits include zip ties. The Starter Kit includes 600. The Laser Cut Kit, DDK, and Garlands include their own counts as well.
