Quick Answer
The Silverback Hard Shell Mag Pouches were built for one reason — your standard M4 pouches won't fit the big boy magazines. VKS .338, TAC-41 110 round long mag, SRS magazines. These fit seamlessly. Three colorways, MOLLE and belt attachment, hard shell construction. Here's what fits and what doesn't.
Why These Exist
The VKS magazines are huge — .338 size rounds, basically the size of your hand. They're not going to fit in a standard M4 pouch. They're barely going to fit in your pockets. Silverback built these hard shell pouches specifically for the VKS launch, and they work with every other big magazine in the Silverback lineup too.

Attachment Options
Two MOLLE clips on the back fit seamlessly onto any MOLLE panel — horizontal or vertical. The Stalker Modular Chest Rig has an exposed horizontal MOLLE panel that these clip onto directly. Remove the panel for standard vertical MOLLE attachment.
Additional belt clip option on the side — secondary attachment point for non-MOLLE setups or belt rigs.
Retention adjustment built in — tighten or loosen for different magazine sizes and weights.

Magazine Compatibility — What Fits
VKS .338 Magazines — Perfect fit
What these were built for. Slides in seamlessly, stays secure.
TAC-41 110 Round Long Magazine (8.6x70) — Perfect fit
The big boy TAC-41 mag fits perfectly. Same size class as the VKS.
SRS Magazine (polymer and steel) — Perfect fit
Possibly too perfect — extremely snug. The SRS mag seats firmly and stays put.
SR-25 .308 Magazine — Adequate fit
Fits with a slight wiggle but enough friction to hold during movement and reload. Adequate for field use.
TAC-41 Short Magazine — Two fit at once
The smaller TAC-41 mag is loose in the pouch individually but fits two at a time. Couldn't shake them out without adjusting the retention. Unofficial double mag pouch for the short TAC-41 mags.
Silverback MDRX 5.56 Magazine — Fits with significant wiggle
Not what these were designed for. Fits but has significant wiggle room. Not recommended as a primary pouch for the MDRX mag — use a standard M4 pouch instead.
Colorways
Available in three colorways — flexibility for any current or future loadout configuration.

On The Stalker Modular Chest Rig
The chest rig comes with an exposed MOLLE horizontal panel. Unclip the pouch, attach it to the horizontal panel, and it locks in securely. The TAC-41 110 round long magazine drops in and the full setup is ready to run.
Remove the horizontal panel if you prefer standard vertical MOLLE — the same pouch attaches both ways.
