Quick Answer
The most common thing that gives away an otherwise solid ghillie setup is an uncovered rifle. No matter how well your suit blends in, a black gun sticking out of a bush reads as a rifle at distance. The Le Covert Oak Master 3D Garlands fix that — no glue, no sewing, just zip ties. In this video Jeff wraps a Wolverine MTW 308 XBR from barrel to stock, step by step.
Why Your Rifle Is Giving You Away
You can have a perfect ghillie suit — great colorway, solid coverage, dialed-in for your terrain — and still get spotted. The reason is almost always the rifle.
A black gun sticking out of vegetation doesn't look like vegetation. It looks exactly like what it is. The human eye picks up that shape and that color contrast at distance before it ever processes the rest of your kit.
Most players focus entirely on their suit and leave their rifle completely bare. That's the one thing ruining an otherwise solid ghillie setup.

What Are The Le Covert Oak Master 3D Garlands?
The Oak Master 3D Garlands are pre-shaped leaf garlands made from NanoScreen fabric — Le Covert's material engineered specifically for positive space concealment. They come pre-cut from the factory in two shapes (Regular and Wide) across two color signatures (Faded Beech and Cold Coyote), with 300 zip ties included.
There's no cutting required. Take them out of the box and start attaching.
They're designed specifically for rifles, helmets, backpacks, and any gear that needs vegetation added to it. Unlike the HaloScreen kits which fill in shadows and gaps, the garlands add three-dimensional volume that looks like natural foliage from a distance.
How To Wrap Your Rifle — Step By Step
Jeff wraps the Wolverine MTW 308 XBR in the video using the Oak Master 3D Garlands. Here's how it works:
Start at the front Begin at the barrel and handguard — the part of the rifle that sticks out furthest and catches the eye first. Drape garlands over the front end and secure with zip ties. The goal is to break up the cylindrical shape of the barrel and add natural-looking volume around the handguard.
Work back toward the stock Move rearward, wrapping and zip-tying as you go. Keep coverage consistent but don't over-stack — you still need to run the rifle. On the side your face will be on, keep garlands trimmed back so nothing is in your line of sight or tickling your face when prone.

Cover the stock The stock is a large flat black surface that catches shadow and contrast. A few garlands zip-tied to the stock break up that black real estate significantly without adding bulk that interferes with your cheek weld.
Check your coverage Step back and look at the rifle from a distance. Less black visible is the goal — every black surface you eliminate is one less thing that registers as "rifle" to the eye. Your hand covers the bottom of the handguard naturally, and if you're running Stalker Crafted Gloves, your hands disappear too.

FAQ
Do I need to shape the garlands? No — the Oak Master 3D Garlands come pre-cut from the factory. Take them out of the box and start attaching with the included zip ties.
Will this affect how I shoot the rifle? Keep garlands away from your optic, trigger, and the side your cheek sits on. Jeff covers this in the video — the stock gets some coverage but your cheek weld and sight picture stay clear.
What's the difference between Regular and Wide garlands? Regular strips work well for tight areas like the barrel and handguard. Wide strips add more volume and work better on broader surfaces like the stock and receiver.
Can I use these on helmets and other gear too? Yes — the Oak Master Garlands are designed for rifles, helmets, backpacks, and any other gear that needs vegetation added to it. The zip tie attachment system works on anything with a rail, loop, or edge to wrap around.
Do the garlands come with zip ties? Yes — 300 zip ties are included.
